    MSX 140 died today

MSX was running fine the last few weekends, it quit today while cruising around the lake.
Not sure what went wrong ,i cant get it to restart i checked it over quickly turns over fine,
Did not see the engine light come on.
I checked the fuel pressure at the valve , no fuel pressure at all when i press down on the
    little tire valve looking stem.

    Any thoughts?

Does the NGI display wake up when you press the Start button for a few seconds? Lanyard in place, of course.

Does it show the cranking RPM?

Yes display looks normal,i just went down to check the cranking rpm stays at ZERO ,battery is strong
i didnt run the battery down today . because it normally fires right up

I would probably look at the cps. Check the sensor and wiring for it. With is showing zero rpm while cranking that tells me that the emm doesnt see that the motor is spinning.

Im hoping its something simple like a CPS , ill check the wiring connection and replace the CPS .The MSX did have a miss where it would cut out on occasion but all in all ran pretty good .
Today it finally cut out and died and would not restart.

Not sure what normal means here.

What I asked was if the sleeping display wakes up automatically when the engine starts cranking, without you pressing any display buttons.

The RPM signal for the display comes from the EMM and it is also used to wake up the display.

Since the display does not wake up when you crank the engine and shows zero RPM if you wake it by pressing a display button, this indicates that either the EMM itself is not awake or the EMM is awake but does not think the engine is rotating.
