2000 XLT 800 take off in water
I have a XLT 800 that runs fine when it first gets into the water but if I let it sit while we swim or etc it wants to bog out when you first get going... After a minute or two it back to running normal. Any ideas?

might be vapor lock, you can try the choke and seat cover trick in the second post of this thread to see if it helps any. It can't hurt.
How long has it been since the carbs were rebuilt, may be time to consider it as well.
