i have a 2007 gtx sc w/ 4 inch air, riva water box, riva grate, ride plate holes filled and bucket trimmed. would the riva pump wedge be a good mod to add on? a while ago someone told me if i put it on i will have nothing out of the hole. is this true?

There has been a bit of discussion on this previously. Consensus is typically that it depends on what conditions you ride. It is a great bang for buck mod as it will add 1-2 mph of top speed on smooth water. In choppy water you will find the ski porposing or un hooking more and will have to trim down to compensate. If you buy the VTS extension rod along with the wedge you will still get a good hole shot. I am running a Torx 2 Degree wedge with a DIY VTS extension and I love it when the conditions are good.

Since I have a 2007 gtx this ski does not have vts... Will this be something to consiter? Also I ride in glass to moderate chop conditions most often but I like to hit some waves once and a while

Get the wedge if you ride one up... IF you frequently carry a passenger, then maybe.

Idk I feel the hole shot is better. You are right on top of the water in no time. The handling, that's a different story. Unhooks in chop. It should be a good addition to the grate.
