Ive tried emailing them a few times but no reply.
Ive hooked the map tuner to my RXPX now (my ski already has Vtech map on it) and down loaded its ECU info, all that went ok and it told me too now connect to my PC.
Connect and clicked the request softwear button but came up saying FT_other error, make sure ur tuner is connected?????
starting to lose it with this bloody thing =(

Finally, someone else with the same problem!! I consider myself quite smart, PC & Mac literate, but it was NOT plug-n-play as expected.
I downloaded software on three different pc's, each one not working. A mix of non connection, administrator and 'can't find maptuner' messages. Even now it's only on good days that my pc can see the maptuner and allow me to "check for updates".
The instructions that came with it and the on-screen instructions were in complete conflict.
When I read / wrote to ski I had to randomly hit buttons for it to continue and work.
Overall the performance is worth all the hassle and is mindblowing, but the whole user experience and support leaves a lot to be desired.
Jerry naturally defends V-Tech as they are a small team with lots of work, that's not good enough. If business is good, in est in more people and polish the products and services that people have paid a lot of money for. This not a cheap product, it's a great product, but it has to come as a conplete experience. You never here any GH guys saying similar about MOTEC, so it can be done.
Phew. Rant over, but I am still having 'account' issues that remain un-resolved. Missing tune etc.
Just went with a CMD system which was a no brainer. If the V-Tech logger and support was better they would have certainly got my money.
@V-Tech, guys please take this constructively. Use it to improve, we are an important and lucritive sector, we can help you.
