Yamaha GP800R (2003-2004) Carb Removal
Need to do a rebuild on the Mikunis and I do have the shop manual. I saw a few notes online - without many details - on getting the carbs off without the 30+ steps in the shop manual calls for.
Any suggestions on a work around? Ski has 97 hours and has never had the carbs serviced. Hard/no starting now when cold and I suspect fuel delivery issues more than anything else...Has spark and has been well cared for.
Going to do the basics (fuel filter, etc.) but I have the carb rebuild kits (Mikuni originals and new gaskets for the carbs and the carb mounting plate).
Any advice would be appreciated on the carb removal.
