    Need some intercooler Education.

Ok on my turbo ski Im pushing the limits of my reinforced oem gen 3 style intercooler (09 I think).

Its cool here so far! good HP weather! water temp is about 75 air was 70
at 19.5# of boost my inlet temps are up around 92 deg at wide open.

When it gets to 90+ deg air and water temp I may have a problem.

I don't have much room unless i move everything around and get a new braket.

My cooler works good but i am pushing it beyond what it was designed for.

Do I have any options that keep the same foot print as the gen 3 style I have?
Is the riva gen 3 better? same size?

    Thanks

Seek professional help.... Try Danny sooner than laterer

Keep in mind the the coldest the IAT can possibly be without water/alcohal injection is the lake water temp.

I run a Garrett 1000 core. At 22 psi 87 degree water I get 97 degree temps. The riva gen 3 is a very great ic (probably the best). Has slightly less heat fade then the Garrett, and will fit your application best

yea I have a friend with a big turbo also that runs the riva. 10 deg over water temp is the normal for him even at 19-20 psi.

I was just wondering what else was out there.
