1999 1200xl yamaha potential motor problem

    Hi,

Can someone tell me how i can turn the engine crank shaft without the starter? Is there a place where i can put a wrench to try and rotate the crank? I think i've got serious issues. Starter has power and does try to engage, but it makes a hum as if the motor is seized. I've put a little oil into each cylinder head in an attempt to lower any damage, but need to rotate the crank.

It's so tight, do i need to remove the tubing that sits above the PTO shaft cover?
