    Jetting???

I have a 97 SL 1050. Just purchased a set of carbs from a virage tx 1200. Can anyone tell me the best jetting sizes for this swap please?

That does alittle lol. Thank you. Im putting the virage carbs onto the SL. From what i found on here im thinking the jet set up should be 142-m 142-c 138-pto 50-mids and 65's low. Does this sound like a safe start?

Per specs above, mid is only 35 but low screw is 1-7/8 turn. So setting from TX 1200 should work fine. Just don't ride extended WOT for first tank. Check your piston wash after first tank then make adjustment from there.

Bring the mid to 50's may put you in rich at bottom end.

i'd run the carbs with the stock tx jetting and go from there to see what the wash ends up looking like
