Need a battery ? Lookie here

hey guys, just wanted to give you all a little break on Batteries.

if you go to advance auto parts.com and get their Gel-battery with 325 CCA Part #ETX16L,
and type in promotion code "TRT30" you will get 30% off sticker price. thats 10 % more than us employees get. most coupons expire, but this is an Instore secret, That code unlike most promotions does not expire. most stores have them on hand. but it HAS TO BE DONE THROUGH ONLINE STORE with core the battery comes to $62.00

Happy riding season everyone, stay safe.

I have been using generic "chromebattery" agm batteries off of ebay. Just bought one for $58.61 to my door. I havent replaced one yet or had any problems whatsoever but, they are only rated at 240CCA vs 325 here. And you can just go pick one up vs waiting 3-5 business days for the mail. That may be worth the $10 more.

is it gel or AGM? whats the warranty?

NM I just looked that # up
    its AGM not gel(big difference)
the downside is only a 3mo warranty.

Last cheapy I bought was a no name AGM from a local independent battery store and its almost 3 yrs old and was only $50.

It looks like Deka is the manufacturer of the Duralast which is good but I can stomach a 3mo warranty.

DEKA just went back to a one year warranty FYI. Last year it was only 6 months.

I prefer & use the AGM. I have a Duracell & XS Power in my skis.

It is not, just bought that battery this week, using that discount code and it is an made in china unit. The website picture is of a Deka made USA battery with its unique terminals, but the one that comes in the Advace box is an AGM battery with conventional case and terminals but not the USA Deka one. Sorry!
