Rear oil seal leaking - Suggestions on replacing?
A few days after cleaning out my engine and hull I saw a small pool (about an ounce or less) of oil in the back under the drive shaft coupler. After further inspection I realized that the oil was coming from the rear oil seal highlighted in the second pic. How difficult are these to change?
Looking at the diagram it appears I will need to pull the rear coupler, pull the seal and install a new seal? Can the coupler be pulled without having to unbolt and slide the engine forward? Never had to do any actual engine work yet, so I am getting into some unfamiliar territory now....

removing them rear couplers with high boost motors is almost impossible, the engine will need to come out and most likely the coupler will need to be cut out.
