Hose Water Intake cap left off by dealer

    Hello all,

I am new to the board and I am looking for a little advise.

I have a 2012 Waverunner VX and I had the dealer "dewinterize" it this last month. I took it out on the lake this past week and after a few hours it stopped working. I looked under the seat and found that the cap for the hose water intake had been left off. Could that have caused some damage?

    Thanks,

    David
