    Stranded -Sea-Doo Style!

Here's why you should always respect the minimum depth requirement to ride a PWC, and never take a chance while the tide is going out ...!

I'm glad you guys survived. When you ran out of beer I was getting concerned for you.

I was the other half of this adventure.

Two very important lessons learned, bring more beer and don't take the short cut unless there is at least a 9ft rising tide. I'm sure the float planes coming and going were laughing seeing us out there for hours.

Been there. But with no friend nor beer. Luckily I was near a lot of boats and got towed off. And the funny thing is that just before I grounded I was laughing at a guy in a 32 footer digging a potato trench with his outdrive because he got grounded. Karma bit me on that one!

Still, it is still fun laughing at other people's problems. We had a few sea planes pass over us throughout the day. We could only hope they could see us and were laughing their heads off.

One of the perils of living with tides. They're great for bringing in great waves sometimes (series of 5' to 7' waves), but problematic when they get too low and it's too early in the morning to be thinking straight!
