Thinking of converting carb'd to FI, what's it gonna take?

Thinking of swapping an XLT over to fuel injection, I'm thinking the GP1300 parts would work. Throttle bodies and assembly, Complete electrical box with harness, and the stator/generator. Anything else? Maybe have to have the GP1300 Gauge pod too?

yes you will need the gauge , and most important , the gas tank. i have a tank and fuel pump, keep in mind 03/04 is the only hardness , ecm, that will work.
also the steering sensor, and the pv servo.

I used the xlt tank its bigger. Just cut the opening for the pump.

hummm just now doing an EFI conversion on my lawnmower
and its going from air cooled to liquid cooled, gains about 3hp
    and lots of economy.

Big plus on the boats is you can dodge the bullet of 2 stroke bans

I think the only realistic way to do this and not spend a fortune is to find a GP1300R in need of a motor or damaged some other way in which I can pick it up on the cheap.

    agree

Ideal one is a 1300R with damaged hull and trashed motor
but cheap and 1300 usually arent in same sentence.
