    Millers Rec port cylinders?

Guys what are they worth? I am doing a rebuild and need to know if I should keep these for myself on the shelf or just put them in my rebuild to sell.
I bought a motor for the RX and it had NEW REc ported 951 Miller cylinders. STAMPED by him and never run.
I could just take my old cylinders and the pistons and have it bored to keep these cylinders if it is worth it.

    Any thoughts?

Side note I will have MINT 951 cases and cylinders FS.

    Austin

I'd keep it for myself! I don't know what gains are to be had by Mel's rec porting, but Mel knows his stuff. You can call him yourself and ask him what gains are over stock cylinders.

    Uh-Huh!
I've been sitting a set of Mel's Rec ported 800 jugs for a few years just waiting to go on the GSX when the time comes.

Whoa! I'd jump on that but I don't have the xp anymore.

But why? You'll just get a bit more rpm & mid punch. It's a mild rec1 port job. I'd keep 'em if I were you.

WHY? Well because this ski is gonna get sold.
I buy a couple ski's here and there to make some extra cash for my
RXP's... The B-kit set me back a bit.

Austin, I might be interested in that deal... Does your cyls come with pistons as well?? what is the bore on your setup.

We have 2 or 3 standard bore cyl's here with standard bore OEM pistons, never used. They are our backup top ends for the races.
