Question 12 hole manifold to 10 stud cylinder.

I have a 95 Kawasaki 750 STS jet ski. I was wondering if I can use a 12 hole manifold, dual carb, on a 10 stud cylinder? Will I have gasket sealing issues? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!

Sorry nobody has given you an answer. I've had both kinds of engines, but never swapped manifolds. (BTW, the manifold mounts onto the crankcase, not the cylinder).

I thought the 10 stud/12 stud was how you could tell a small pin piston engine from the big pin piston engine, but apparently that's not right.

I remembered that John Zigler had discussed this in a thread about wrist pin size. Here's a link: http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=171564

I guess all I can do is give it a try and see what happens. I was hoping someone else had tried it before and could give some input.
