    94 speedster top mph ?

Both my engines show compression of 140psi in each hole. With pepboys gauge.
    New plugs gapped at 22
new voltage regs. Seem to both work, steady 13.5 at 4500rpm
new wear rings and plastic jet pumps installed, same oem props.
had cavitation before, now completely gone.
one of my engines revs to 7000 rpm while the other stops at 6000. This is on stock brp tachs.
I know there is a difference because boat allways pulls a bit more to one side.

my top speed this weekend with me only in it was 49mph but that was just for a second. Average is 45mph.

I thought 54mph was normal on a dual engined 657x boat.
any help on what else I can check? Ohh, carbs are clean and plugs run a chocolate brown. Running quick silver "non tcw" full synthetic premix 50:1

Have you checked the throttle linkage?

Yes. Both linkages hit their stops as throttles bottom out.

Im guessing from what I've read on other sites, that the drivers side is always going to read a little slower in the rpm range..

may be cus of the single water intake,
or more than likely because of the different prop pitch....

im not too worried about it anymore. Boat runs awsome and compression is even on both engines.

I also wouldn't completely trust those tachs.....or the speedo. GPS it if you want an accurate speed. My Kawi jet ski will read over 80mph....in reality it's doing 70.

Yeah, it's an older ski too. One of the so called 2 seaters. It's almost scary in rough water, but it's a blast. You wanna have some fun, keep an eye out for Ultra 150's. They're pretty easy to fix and sometimes you can find them for next to nothing. I've got 2, I bought the 2nd one with a bad cylinder for $600 with a load rite trailer.....I've got $1100 in it after I sold the trailer.
