    RXPX260 Gauge Pod Cover Install

Not much on the forum about these covers for sale in Jerry's store. I wanted to post my install to help others out.

The fit is OK, but mine took a fair bit of dremel work.

Here are some mock up pictures, will post more tonight as I continue to work on it.

I recently purchased one of these and was NOT impressed at all with the fitment. $90 for a piece of plastic that is close but not perfect to the shape. I ended up having to cut mine to fit ESPECIALLY around opening tab. After you initially fit the gauge cover onto the glove box lid, you will quickly realize that it no longer snaps back down onto glove box anymore. I had to modify quite a bit to make the cover lock down as it did before.

I had to make the same modifications to mine. I plan on using Black RTV silicone and clamps when I attach it to the lid.

I just used some very small screws (6) and it is very solidly in place. Here's a few pics of the cover and modification.

I used PL9000 construction adhesive and clamped overnight. Solid!
