yeah. I have a hard time convincing people of that.

I call it 'hours between rusting sessions over the last year"

lower tends only to be far better when dealing with blouses, not baots.

If I was buying a ski that was 8 years old id like to at least see 60 hours on it. Makes me feel like it hasn't been sitting around for years.

Also most people don't rebuild the sc til after it fails so I would actually be hoping it still had ceramic washers

Not to be an A hole but why'd you buy the thing with the engine in that condition of salt crust?

My bet is the gauges were replaced with new... plug that thing up and see how many hours are on the ECU... The only way that thing would look that terrible after only 12 hours of use is if the uses were in salt water with absolutely NO rinse down after riding, or if it was turned upside down or sank in salt water and wasn't washed out afterwards...
On another note, it's an 06, so unless they plan on replacing the valves i wouldn't touch that ski with a ten foot pole... it's a time bomb. Perhaps it's a lucky "late" 06 with the "good" valves, but after seeing what happens i wouldn't take a chance...

Exactly. That previous owner should get 100 lashes with a spark plug wire.
