What is the black wire from stator?

I am wiring a new coil in my 91 WR500Q and i got it just about wired but what is the black wire coming from the stator?

White/red stripe (pulser coil), Brown (CDI power), White/black stripe (ground stud), 2 greens (regulator), Black ????? do i just need to leave it unhooked like the Water temp?

This is the coil i am using.

So far i have the CDI hooked up as

Green (Stud/coil ground), black (Kill switch), Blue (Pulse), Red (CDI power), Yellow (Coil) and that leave one green ground on the CDI not hooked up....

Eh i left it unhooked. In the guides i seen had no talk about it so... Anyways i am glad to report it fired right up with the new cheaper CDI box...... I only have about $13 in the new box and that is with prime next day shipping. A Mod can delete this thread if they chose. i will update my other with photos and links.
