Spark delivery delayed due to recall?

Yo, I picked up my spark last week, 2up ho, in orange. My girlfriends was supposed to come in this week, but she just got a call from the dealership saying that the latest batch of sparks has been held back due to a recall on that they have to fix the recalls before they ship them.
This is annoying, because she was extremely excited to have it up for the 4th of July week, but now it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Has anybody heard of any new recalls?

I haven't heard of any recall that would delay any shipments. Dealer might just be telling you that as an easy excuse on why it's not here yet.

I hear ya ordered mine in nov for April delivery was delayed till June the delivery truck broke down last week on way to dealer. My pump had a build date of May 17 2014 don't know about the rest or what the delay was over. The wires where not zip tied. Same handlebars. Your guess is as good a mine. Call the Dealer and ask what the recall was.

There are no official recalls or bulletins for the Spark other than the reboarding ladder but that has been around for about a month now.

The reboarding ladder? You mean the step?

What do I need to do to determine if I need a new reboarding step?

Good thing I didn't order the step prob would have had to wait another month for the ski.

I wonder if it was not a recall but production change. Or prob just dealer bs. Figured you wont argue or get up set is it's a safety recall and if you did it would make you look bad for arguing

I know my step broke as soon as I put it on...I installed it pushed down on it with my hand didn't even put any weight or preasure on it and the spring inside it broke from its holder

It's dealer BS. Probably mistakenly ordered you a RXT-X.

"Are you sure you didn't order the Wagon Queen Family Truckster?"
