    Flame arrestor removal

    When removing this flame arrestor does anything go back

    Are you using the Riva kit or going DIY and in through throttle body end?

    Get all of what out. The screen or the ???? And riva kit consist of.

    Now I have the block off plug that came with my fizzle xs intercooler kit or when I take out the screen do I need to put back this

    Oh and going through the throttle body I will not have to cut nothing. Right.

    take that wire mesh tube out that is it. Install the supplied cap back on as shown in the upper left of your picture.

    you can't pull it through the throttle body, you have to use the hole saw. Make sure to get it centered.

    en we remove the one from my father's TX, I used a long screw driver with a notch in the end...Cut the metal perforated material into 3 sections, pulled them out, then used long nose needle pliers to get the rest out...Takes time, lots of swearing, but it comes out..

    Danny's right, it is possible to remove with no kit, no block off and no drilling. Once you have mental picture of the FA you can do it no problem, but as you don't, and you have the Riva kit, use that.

    Follow the instructions and centre the hole saw perfectly.

    Make sure you locate the two tabs on the bottom of the manifold when re-installing.

    Just in case, you did make a mistake when you mentioned you would use the block off that came with your Fizzel IC yes?? If not, maybe you need some experienced help in removing your FA?!?!
