rebuilding SLT 780 pump assembly - Looking for advise

I plan to replace the bearings and seals in the pump shaft assembly. I have ordered the tool to remove the impeller and was curious if there is any good information here on how to remove the shaft and bearings?
I also plan to use the alignment tool to check motor alignment ant assume I need the bearings in the assembly to use the alignment bar?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

    Al

Thank you for the link. Is there any specific information on removing the stator shaft and bearings? I have not been able to find anything. I don't want to damage anything and expect I will need a press to get it apart.

    Thanks
    Al

The info is linked there somewhere.

No press required. The stub shaft slides out once the impeller and o-rings are removed.

The seals get pried out, one side then the other. Will get all distorted but they are going in the trash anyways.

Bearing races get tapped out using a drift. Poke the drift through from the other side, then hammer tap alternate sides of the far bearing to work it out of the cavity. Don't get it jammed/canted in the cavity.

In severe cases it might help to warm up the entire stator in a 200F oven. The aluminum stator should expand more than the steel bearings, making it easier to tap the bearings out. Use gloves and work in a safe manner with the hot stator.

The inner spacer must be retained and reused.
