1200 bogs after being shut down

I have a 1200 suv that after riding for a bit and shutting it down to hop into the water to cool off, once I get back on and start up it wants to bog. If I give it throttle it will bog for the first 5 seconds or so then it clears up. Is this normal?

Falty diaphram in the carbs when was last rebuild ? How many hours on ski ? Fuel filter new ? Check those first and or compression test

Carbs were rebuilt a few years ago, the ski has 125 hours on it. Not sure about the fuel filter but that shouldn't cause this issue, it would cause fuel starvation instead. Compression I was checked a few weeks ago and was all over 120. Any other ideas?
