Cool 2005 RXP ate SC rings (again) - time for a new toy

I have been out of this forum for a very long time and am not up on the new toys. I have done some research and like the looks of the rxpx 260 or FZR. Are there any glaring issues with either model for this year? What one would you prefer to keep stock (or very slight mods) and play on lake?

    Thanks,
    Mitch

There's a $.04 zip tie that holds an important hose onto the motor and when it breaks, which it will, your motor is ruined and you have to spend $6K to fix it. Did I get that right?

Not sure if you mean the bailer zip ties? They can sink you and are just finger tight. Bit of a contortionist's job to swap out, but feels good when you havd SS clamps on. Note, DO NOT overtighten, no need.

RxPx will need a new IC and usual jobs that BRP choose to ignore on all skis, bilge, nasty oetikers (corroded if not a new ski), AGM battery etc etc.

The FZR will be faster with less mods, the RXPX rides and handles better.
