Thread: fuji ecu?

    fuji ecu?

I have a 95 SL750 that will not rev above about 4k, using the hose on a trailer. All stator and coil resistance check out, rebuilt carbs, compression good. Starts instantly idle is smooth. I finally checked timing. Seems to be about 90 degrees after TDC using a timing light. I am suprised it runs at all. Timing does not change when it starts to rev. I did put in a used ecu of unknown origin, but same problem.

Any ideas, I have about reached my limit.

ECU is actually CDI. Does the CDI box have any numbers on it? ie 75w95? Does it have a gray wire? The 780 sized motors used a gray wire to put the ski into limp mode, reducing RPM to around 4k.
