    Where does this part go?

I was drying out some water from the hull the other day and noticed this piece lying on the bottom. I was hoping someone knows where it came from.

it belongs to a oem hose clamp. i have found three so far including one still on the clamp.
thats how yamaha keep the clamps open for easy installation. once install the pull that clip and the clamp closes.
