    Do I need gloves

Been riding a bit harder the last two weeks and have some nasty blisters on my thumb nuckles. They keep hitting the plastic from the bars. Went out yesterday and the water was crazy, hit so hard it started bleeding.
Thinking of getting some gloves. Any recommendations for hot weather riding?

    Thor Mens Spectrum Gloves 2014
this material last longer than other ones, I had a similar set to these had them for 4 years, until I lost one glove, I recently bought these on the link and they are just like the ones I had, I had great experience.

Yes ultra, riders discount is a good place to buy
i m old school i wear jet pilot gloves !
if you look on flea bay you can find grip donuts that r padded a little to keep your hand from hitting the black plastic bar end .
also jay it does hurt ,means your hands r soft
    had to say that !
    but gloves r a must !
Eye protection with foot protection is also very good !
a small bug in the eye hurts at speed .
im not gonna say wetsuit but if its cold?
You also need one as you may have to swim !
    Being cold and wet bites!

Lmao no pain, hands are definitely not soft. Working with my hands in a freezer for 11 years have kind of roughed them up. Just a little embarrassed when people look at me like I'm a meth head.

Definitely wear my foot protection and glasses.
Learned the hard way when I got caught on top of a reef and cut up the bottom of my feet.
No need for wet suit yet. Water temps in the upper 80's.

Ultra thanks I'll look into those.

    Oh man those look great.

I've used a pair of Jet Pilot ones and they're not bad.
Might try a pair of these that you posted though.

Thor has won my business, the XL fit me best, I had a pair of thor made with the same material and lasted me 4 years, until I lost one.
eye protection is required as well, I guess you have never hit a dragonfly at 65mph, that shit hurt, I had to pull to the side they seem to like the color of the ski cause they are attracted to it...

I don't wear goggles. But most definitely always have my Oakleys. They are polarized which makes a huge difference on the water. I would recommend anyone to always buy polarized lenses. Plus they wrap around my eyes a good bit too.

Another seller on ebay has the same gloves for $6 less, than the link above. I should have shopped around a bit.
