2014 VXR vs VXS both 3 seaters for 2014???

So I have always assumed that he VXR/S was like the FZ in that R= 2 seat S = 3 seat. This does not appear to be the case as Yamaha shows the VXR at a 1-3 person?? Can anyone confirm this?

    thank you

Had three college age girls out with my wife and I last weekend and the three of them insisted on going out 3-up on our VXR. I was shocked that none of them fell off given how unstable as the ski feels with just a single passenger behind the rider.

I rode two up on mine a couple of weekends back, no issues. That was around 450 lbs on the ski. I also pulled a tube with two girls on it while the same two were on the ski. My skis are modded, but had no issue at all. I had to be careful not to accelerate too quickly, but I did accidentally throw them off the tube a couple of times.

My GF who has almost zero riding experience rode three up with two other girls on the ski. They were fine for a good long while at speed, but once they stopped, they eventually tipped over

I also pulled a tube with the two girls on it, while
