99 Challenger SK Engine Problem
Have a hard time keeping one of the engines "going". Once it is warmed up and keep the rpm about 4-5000 it seems fine. Throttle up both and the one engine "kicks" in when it feels like it. Then all is running fine at 6000 rpm. Make a turn it slows to 4500 and stays there until it feels like catching up again or it may not. Throttle down to 2000 and it dies. Won't idle at all. Once I get it started again, it goes through the whole "deal" like I described again. Any ideas on what it could be? I put new plugs in both engines. Fuel is brand new with a little Stabil in it, oil is good and new. Any help would be appreciated. I can eliminate one thing at a time with suggestions....thanks!

Have you had the carbs cleaned and rebuilt ever???
The external fuel pump may not be at full potential making it run lean....

No I have not had the carbs rebuilt. I did replace the one engine four years ago when I bought it. Would the external fuel pump effect just one engine? I can pull the carb on the one engine and have it rebuilt. Hoping for fix to keep it available for the 4th...but looking like slim chance.
