    Welcome

Will it rev freely to redline out of the water, on the trailer?

If this is an SLH then it has the red two cylinder engine, correct? That would be 700cc, not 750.

That means the low RPM in the water is not caused by an electronic limiter.

The engine is low on power, most likely. Check cylinder compression. Should be near 120PSI in both cylinders.

Both Plugs removed throttle open , both cylinders at 120.

Hmmm. Well, something is not right, somewhere.

    Correct spark plugs installed?

Are both cylinders getting equally warm when you run the engine on the water?

Check for possible overheating of the exhaust hoses. If they have soft spots when you squeeze the outsides there may be delamination inside which is partially blocking the exhaust flow.

Does the MFD display work properly? No signs of water inside?

    1. Mfd seems to be working fine, but the set button not doing anything.
2.correct plugs installed, even put new ones in at lake and same results.
3.both cylinders felt the same temp and were not hot.
I have not checked exhaust, would the mfd set button cause this? Got me stumped

Sometimes the MFD buttons can go bad. On rare occasions it can be fixed by opening the sealed case. Or just use it as is.

The MFD has nothing to do with actually running the engine*. It is just a display, can be unplugged from the back and not interfere with the engine.

    * There is a special case when the MFD is dead or has problems inside. In that case the MFD should be unplugged to prevent inadvertent electronic interference with the ignition system.

Checking the exhaust hoses just means feeling them carefully for soft areas. Even better, loosen the big hose clamps and pull the hoses off for internal inspection. There will be a black carbon oily film inside so you will get dirty

Also look into the waterbox as best you can for possible debris obstructions.
