    click click

Ok so I got on my ski this morning to start it and heard nothing but a click. Did this a few times and the then it started. Every now and then it will act up like this. Anyone have any ideas why? It will just click the first few times I hit the start and pretty soon turn over and run fine ????

Check ground and pos wires for corrosion. What you will normaly find is corrsion on the ground wire where it bolts to the block. It is not making a good connection. Pull it lose and sand the wire lead and where it bolts to the block with some sand paper.

Yea I checked the wires and found nothing wrong with them. They look brand new with no corrosion on them what so ever? I started it a few more times and it seems to be getting better?

Also you might want to check your starter switch, for corrosion.

I did find this in the front of my hull while checking out the battery
It was stuffed in between the hull and some styrofoam LOL
Anyone know what it is or where it goes?

    Dark,
You need a new starter relay. it is part number 278001802. It is about 38.00 it is located on the side of the MPEM up front. it is the Tan piece that has the 2 red(positive) cables going to it. It is a POS part from the factory and they go out often. My dealer had 300 of them in stock if that tells you anything. you need a 10 mm socket to remove it. and then you need to cram the socket into where the battery cables mount on. (inside the red plastic). Just changed mine and it fires right up. On my 06 RXP it started acting up at 50 hrs....

Yep, if the clicking is coming from the font compartment it's the relay. C licking from engine compartment is the starter.

Haha I just figured it out and came in to find out how much it costs
That is deffinatly what is causing my problems! But it does seem to get better the more I mess with it. Think I'm still good to go to the lake today without changing it? Will it go completly dead on me?
