lighty MODed gp1200r. Will I gain mph with stock exhaust?

My new to me gp1200r currently has a free-flow exhaust. Question: Will I gain mph by installing a stock exhaust hose? I used the search function & didn't find any conclusive information for my MODs, so im wanting to hear from some people that have first-hand experience with very similar set-up. MODs were on the ski when I purchased it. Compression is 135# in all 3 cylinders. MODs are in my signature. Thanks in advance!

Just in case you can't see my sig:
'01 GP1200R, D-plate, shaved stock head, rebuilt stock carbs, FA, premix, Amsoil 40:1, FF, pump seal, 13/19, Riva top-loader grate, R&D rideplate, 65.9 gps

Will adding stock exhaust hose & sound suppression box pick-up mph, and about how much to be expected?

    Thanks

it will definitely go faster, but don't expect a mile increase, maybe a 1/2 mile . speed is a combination of parts , not just one.

So maybe I gain .5mph from what you're saying..... Wonder if it will lose mid-range when I add the stock tube & sound suppression?

honestly , you probably won't feel any difference. now the ff plate is going to give you few more miles.

stop messing with the 1200r . it will not go over 71mph
you should add the ff plate to the 08 , 4* keyway / set of heads at 150 psi. efi controller, true 14/21 solas , maybe some vf3 reeds , then you will see some serious speed. it will be close to 75mph .

Well, I honestly was going to start on the 1300 this yr. I haven't ridden the past 2 yrs (shame on me) and my plan was to trick the 1300 out, BUT we needed another ski so my wife & son could all ride together, and since the 1200 was already tricked out pretty much, I thought I would go ahead & finish it. I'm close now. Once the 1200 is done, then I'm starting on the 1300. The plan is to put the stock R&D plate on the 1300 for this yr, then send out to Jim over the winter, and also send the head for Jim to mill it. 1300 should be fished next yr.
