    Ultra 250x 08 Ride plate.

    Hi,
Do i need to use any type of sealant when fitting my R+D ride plate and intake grate. I use my ski for racing.
    Thanks in advance,
    Steve.

You don't have to, I never did because I would swap setups for different race conditions so much.
But you can use silicon to seal the gap around the intake grate and ride plate to the hull. Some say it helps, but I didn't see a difference other than being more difficult to swap setups

Sticky 5mm foam tape works a treat.....it also allows for swapping out without resealing silicone
