I made a stupid mistake on my first jet ski engine work. My power valve disintegrated into little pieces. As I was pulling the pieces out, I dropped the pin at the top of the valve down into the "water slot" on the cylinder. It is the hole in the upper right of the attached picture. How do I get it out?

try a small magnet, but if its on the water jacket it would do any harm. that piston needs to be replace, it got hit pretty hard, you be surprise if it start disintegrating while its running and damage your engine.

I have a power valve and a good stock bore cylinder. $40 for the valve + $5 shipping. $365 shipped for a new cylinder with valve.
