What makes me suspect the gas:

i had 06 rxp modded and 07 wake stock. There is convenient gas station /maverick/ which I always use since It is on my way. The modded rxp i have no reference point but the wake was all the season with ~7700. Now i returned to stock the rxp in order to sell it and filled it up from the same gas station with premium and 7700 rpm.

This looks related some how to me

on the pump there was a sticker that the gasoline is oxigenized if that makes any difference.

The other problem is that I filled the ski to the top and in order to test with another brand gas I have to siphon all the tank. I will do that if there is a chance that the gas is my problem but wanted to hear more opinions before do that

    thanks

So you think that mu RPM's might be because of the gas /all 300+ of them/?

Mine was hitting 7700 rpms as well.

But i believe mine was like that due to the fact the Powers ports shop over filled my ski way above full with oil.

Gas can rob some RPM but I'm not sure about 400RPM.

I think you'd also be getting some rough running if it was effecting it that much.

I'd look at the prop. Maybe when you put it in the boat landing and started it up you might have sucked something up. Might not hurt to swap the plugs also just to rule that out.
