What price can I ask for these watercraft?

    Hello to everyone!

With my last few posts on this forum asking for assistance in the Chicagoland area and getting no local help (but K447 did help me fix my issue) I have thought about selling these Polaris watercraft. I don't have time to fix them if they break as I have 2 boys in competitive baseball and football as well as playing with my 14' GT500 Cobra. What can I ask and get for these ski's? Here are the specs:

    2000 Genesis FFI (stock)
1999 Polaris X45 (ocean pro, 6 degree, stub stacks, nu jet 7.0)

Both are in good condition for their years and NEVER stored outdoors. Always stored in heated garage in winter.

Any thoughts in price would include trailer as well.

If you are going to ask about "hours" on the ski's, I am unsure now as the hours change every spring when I put the battery in. The Genesis says 900 (that's impossible) and the X45 says 110 (it is closer to 200).

Again, I am just inquiring as to what I can ask in price without someone thinking I am crazy.

Thanks in advance for the replies.

You can reset the engine hour counters on each display to zero.

Buyers may be more comfortable with zero hour displays and you telling them the actual numbers, rather than very high (but false) numbers and you telling them something lower.

See the MFD/MFI section from my signature links for info on how to reset engine hour counters.

Very easy answer. Illinois doesn't do crap with the money that goes to the DNR. Lakes are dirty with no movement to clean or keep them clean. Another bonus is that with my boats registered in Wisconsin I do not need plates for the trailer (a $90 per year savings). My vacation home is in Minocqua, Wi so I use the ski's there frequently.

Kind of what I figured. A lot of people with property in Wisconsin register their boats here. Sounds like a good plan. Skis are a lot easier to register here too, with no title requirement.
