04" RXP Water or coolant in oil.
I need some help here, This is not my first ski but it is my first 4tec. I picked up a basket case RXP & put it together over the winter & when I started it this spring the oil was full of anti freeze. A pressure test quickly pointed to the oil cooler so I replaced it, took out the oil filter, changed the oil 3 times, running it on the hose between for about 30-40 seconds until reasonably clean, re filled & took it to the lake. after warming it up & took it out & at about 3000rpms the oil warning goes off. So back to shore & checked the oil & it looked milky. Pulled the filter cover & found the filter collapsed. Back on the trailer! so far I checked the intercooler (held 18psi for at least I hr) The cooling system (holds 10psi) My compression is 130+/-. So I don't think it's a head gasket?
Is there something I could have overlooked assembling it? didn't run the hose without the engine running. Running out of ideas, I need a second opinion!
Can anyone help out a 2 stroke bloke with this 4 stroke before I choke! Thanks in advance..... Joe

If it's not the intercooler the only other thing I can think of at the moment is an internal crack in the exhaust manifold. Is there any water in the hull?

A little, not more than a beer cans worth. But I did not run it long. Can I pressure check it in the boat?

I think you nailed it, Clamped off the two hoses on the j pipe end & applied pressure from the intercooler line & it doesn't hold.
