    Ribbon Delete

    Hey guys,
Finally getting around to doing the Ribbon Delete and intercooler spacer on my 08 SHO cruiser. I remember seeing the instructions here and now for the life of me can't find them. Not sure if they were moved or if I'm using the wrong key words in the search. Can anyone help me out with the instructions?
    Thanks.

There are step by step instructions on Riva's website which you can follow, plus a bunch of thread if you check out the search feature

Thanks Mike1646. That helps out a lot.

Mike FZR, I tried searching, maybe im using the wrong keywords cause ribbon delete came up with a bunch of results for people talking about removing it, but not the instructions for doing it.

    Here is a link: http://www.rivaracing.com/instructions/ry12040_imuk.pdf

It looks like Riva has really shortened this particular instruction guide. The one I have printed out from 2009 at my house is way longer and is truly step by step. Maybe call them and ask.

If I were you I wouldn't touch the intercooler pipe bolt or clamp, only loosen up the throttle body clamp.

This is what I did. Once you go to remove the manifold just pull up. When you go to installuse some WD and press down whike holding the j pipe. Very easy to do.

Don't forget the two 12mn bolts at the bottom of the manifold

Agreed, I fought that $&@% j pipe bolt for an hour before I finally got it back on.

Definitely remove the intake manifold...it's not hard to take off or put back on.
