Genesis TPS and TPS test harness Good Price!
I was getting frustrated trying to lowball my TPS fix. Used TPS's aren't worth the trouble. I finally built a test harness to test the idle and WOT voltages at the TPS without having to bugger the wiring. I got the Delphi/Weatherpack connectors off ebay for around 5 bucks shipped. I wasn't about to pay 40 more bucks for the special crimp tool for just 6 pins so I carefully soldered the pins to my test wires. The test ports are just crimped butt splices. It looks like one of the waterproof rubber dealies is missing in the pic but it is just shoved too far in the barrel to see. I connect to my multimeter with clip on leads. It works pretty well. I also used heat shrink the same color as the wires for my 2001 Genesis TPS.
I am going to try the Evinrude/Ficht TPS fix since I can now monitor the voltage much more easily. I found a new one at duskyonline.com out of Florida for $59.99 plus $6.00 USPS priority mail shipping. Thats the best price I could find. Hope this helps anyone looking for a good price on the part. Regards, Chef
