Quiet summer in the "Canada Rides" section so far...

As the title says, not much action in this section as of yet this season.

No river rides, pics of any sort, events, etc...

Hopefully as the nicer weather starts to come in for the 2 months of summer we have left we can do at least one big group ride somewhere in Ontario!

We've already hit Lake Muskoka 3 times, Georgian Bay once, the Muldrew Lakes (Gravenhurst) and Sparrow Lake.

The various Ride for Dad events are coming up as well. We'll be riding in the July 12 event.

Didn't take the camera with us for the majority of the rides and haven't checked if we've got anything decent from the last one.

We've hooked up with the seadootours.com guys. If you can make it out early on a Friday morning it's a great time. 90+ mile rides, great scenery and a good group of people.

Now to sort out why my ski won't maintain idle.

We will ride at some point. Not sure I can speak for everyone else but for me and needing 94 oct to run my ski and the fuel prices in general really put a damper on travelling for me especially after just buying a house and me running the house by myself. I normally stay within Barrie area or the cottage in buckhorn by Peterborough

Good to hear you got the house

How much distance can you ride your machine without fear of completely running out of fuel?

Our two watercraft can cover just over 100 miles each on a full fuel tank, cruising at 40-55mph. The stock supercharged Seadoo machines seem to be good for about 75 miles, give or take.

That's not bad at all, about the same as mine.

And I feel your pain on the high octane, unfortunately Yamaha ventured away from running their supercharged skis on regular. Now it's only 91 octane. Hard to find at most marinas as they usually bseem to carry 87.

    Congrats on the new place!

Is there a housewarming party/ride in your near future?
