I was ordering some stuff from McMaster-Carr and decided to order a strainer for my ski. I did not know it, but my buddy got a Groco at the same time. This one is the exact one for $17.30 (The screen mesh size you want is 50)

And to make it easy, These are the brass fittings as well: 9.29

Or 2.77 for the nylons that come in the Groco kit

Figured I would share in case anyone is interested.

I believe West Marine sells the strainer by itself for $17 as well. At least they did a long time ago. The whole kit with fittings and bracket was around $37 at the time. The bracket makes it all pretty convenient. I'd rather not make my own. West Marine is too far so I just ordered the filter kits from Jerry when I needed them.
