    96 xp handlebar replacement.

I got an 1996 xp. unfortunaly my uncle crashed it into a few rocks and flipped it, twisting the handlebars. I wanted to replace the oem handlebar. I live in Aruba so I have to order it from the U.S. which means a 68 dollar handlebar will end up costing me 150 dollars (shipping and import duties). I can buy a aluminum motocross handlebar for around 70 dollars at a local motorcycle shop. Its 32" wide so that should be no problem. My concern is if the thickness of the bars will fit in the handlebar clamps. I assume that the aftermarket handlebars for a pwc are the same like for a dirtbike. Who has done it already?

Yes the 7/8" bars will fit.
