    Supercharger pics....Not a problem....YET

Hello Forum ....First time poster but have been learning from you guys for a LONG time. Two skis.....An 04 and 05 RXP (no fun to ride alone!). Just bought the 04 (178 Hours)....Put about 10 hours on it and spun the shaft in the impeller. Finally got the impeller off (had to use a 2500 ft/lb impact gun) and got the pump back together. Waiting on the shaft so should be good there. Now the real question:

Thought I'd get the SC upgrades done so we could enjoy the rest of the summer and not have "I should have done that" paranoia every time we ride...Can you guys tell me if this blower still has the ceramic washers?

They look ceramic but I don't think I need to be guessing...... Appreciate any input and thanks again for sharing your knowledge.

They do appear to be ceramic washers.

Those are ceramic washers and the spaces between the spring washers show excessive wear. You might consider playing the lottery after making it 10 hours without that supercharger exploding!

cant you just put a magnet to them? I know im a new but we would do this to see if retainers were titanium or not in the car world

Ceramic washers or not, that supercharger needs a rebuild. I agree too much spacing on the spring washers. Clean shop!

I also thought they were ceramic but then I second guessed myself. They're ceramics though

Guys.......Thanks a ton for responding. The guy I bought it from said "Oh yea, every upgrade has been done".......Would be fun to say.."Perfect, let's pull the supercharger real quick and take a look" Used chit.....(did pick this up for $2K (with trailer) so not a total ass grab)

Sending it to Jerry. Seems like there are a LOT of satisfied customers. Love this forum. My wife thinks i'm addicted.
