Smile 2012 FX SHO Pump Tunnel Re Enforcement

I searched high and low and could not find anyone to supply a pump tunnel re enforcement for a 2012 FX SHO.

Well I finally pulled my finger out and took a mold of the pump tunnel. Biggest challenge was how to make a strong re enforcement with the intake grate bolts holes so close to the pump tunnel.

Some more layers added. All up about 16 layers of fiberglass.

These Seadoo owners need to be sunk.

Well further to the project I had to add some machined billet alloy into the mould which will become the bolt holes for the intake grate. After that was glued in and resined up they were drilled and tapped.

Last but not least a nice Carbon Fiber look and glue her in.

The ride plate screwed straight in.

What a pain it was to make.
