Vtech 8375 tune, normal vs. aggresive?

anyone know the major differences between the Vtech tune for the RXP-X 260 8375rpm normal vs. aggressive tune and will gas quality impact the aggressive tune. even though i put premium in my machine i'm concerned at times with the gas quality on my lake.

I have an AGR tune too (8600rpm) and in Sport Mode it's very touchy. For cruising and running offshore in a chop, I've been leaving it in Touring Mode. I'm really happy with Vtech's version of a Touring Mode. Doesn't turn the ski into cruise ship and seems to be perfect for general running. I think this is the way Touring Mode should be IMO.

On the tune I run (others tunes may be different)

If you simply start the motor and drive off, It will be in sport mode but none aggressive throttle. (I run this mode most of the time)

If you then tap the sport button twice, you are in sport mode with aggressive throttle.

If you hit the Eco button, you are in drone mode with a 48 MPH top speed.

If you then turn sport mode back on you are in sport mode with aggressive throttle.

If you start the ski with the green key, the only thing you can get to is drone mode.

I am trying to talk Jon into making this combination the standard way all default tunes are set up.

    ******Geek alert*****

FYI: If I recall correctly, the MAP gets to about 100 KPA at about 25% throttle in aggressive mode. In normal mode you get to 100 KPA at about 55% throttle. I can post a data log for the people that really care how this stuff really works.....

By default, Motec is set up very similar to VTech aggressive mode.

Here is what the graph looks like. The upper line is in "aggressive mode" and the lower curve is generated when in "normal throttle" mode. I hit the sport mode button about 75% thru the 30 min ride.

This was all done with a VTech logger and MegaLogViewerHD for the graphing.

Hope this helps and have fun tuning.

Then there would be no touring mode and That option is nice in heavy chop

What are you considering touring mode as? Is that the same as Eco mode? As far as I know, what I described a drone mode is the same thing as Eco mode.
