Oil light could be a faulty oil presure sensor, very common....

as for low speed, have you checked under the ski for any debris in the pump??? What RPM are you getting??

it did not say limp mode on display and sc was never rebuilt.. i was told that being that it was a 2010 model that it should be fine with the metal washers

What's your rpms? Any codes? Sounds like the oil pressure regulator.

the charger still needs total rebuild after 100 hours of use regardless of what washers it has.

It doesn't sound like the charger is your current problem but thought you should know.

Try replaceing the oil pressure sensors as they are known to cause this type of problem.

If you have a way of checking oil pressure with a temporary mechanical gauge then you could do that also.
