I'm gonna have cruise & ski, and x-package module installed by dealer on my 2012 Gti 155. Both have a time set for install. Since i'll be installing both at the same time, I was thinking they should charge for 1 install since they are both plug & play in the same area. I know the cruise takes more time cuz they need to remove handle bars and cluster, but that's it right? Your thaughts?

why not do it yourself and save the labor charges?

I don't have all the tools and confidence to do so.

Have them install cruise, then install the x package yourself? I haven't seen instructions for the x package but at the very least you wouldn't need to wire into the fuse box.
really aren't any unique tools required for either. I installed my cruise module in a couple hours.

That's exactly what I was thinking, I'll install x-package myself. As for the cruise module, I was really lucky to find one at a NewYork dealer, open box too. I don't know why they discontinued such a popular add-on? Anyone know the reason why?
