Intake grate inserts
Seems today is my lucky day . I spun both a ride plate and intake grate insert within 5 minutes. On the ride plate I found all the details here on the 04+ inserts - I happen to have a R&D set I bought as a just in case a while back. Just use a 2 part epoxy to set the insert right ? Of course I will remove the goop stuff that is there.
Are there any upgrades for the intake grate inserts ? It is the most forward right side that is spinning.

How much torque are you giving those bolts? You can use 5200 to set the brackets back in.

Good question. I am certain I did it to spec back in the Fall. I am wondering if it being so cold related. My guess is the hull is about 50 degrees (I am in the midwest).

Any suggestions on the removing the front bolt on the intake grate insert ?
I found all the threads for the ride plate ones.

They arent much different than ride plate or pump shoe inserts. I got them out with some vice grips and a second hand.
Hard part is going to be finding a part number for the intake grate insert - I dont see it @ Boats.net at all. I may just reset the one I have

I may be wrong, but I think all those brass inserts are the same size.
Apply antiseize when you reinstall the new bolts.
