Broke off spark plug and easy out in my RXPX 255...HELP!!!

I was getting my 255 ready for riding this wknd, changing gas n oil n plugs. Long story short, I broke off the middle spark plug in the motor. So I got a easy out to try n get what was left and the freaking easy out snapped off too. I'm pretty mechanically inclined but I'm not sure about breaking down the top of the motor to try n save it. Any advice is appreciated. Thx in advance

welcome to the house of pain

the head has to come off now

unless you have some general experience in doing this kind of work, seek out some professional help or you may end up owning a money pit.

Yes, I did pull the cover and tube out. It's broke off at the threads on the spark plug.

In order to put an easy-out in, you must have had to chip some on the center electrode out. What would scares me is ceramic chips now might be in cylinder. If this was mine, I would pull head. This way you can attack it from the bowl side (by chipping away ceramic tip and drilling from opposite end).

    Rule of thumb:
Do not over tighten (past crush washer)
Use a bunch of dielectric grease on top of coil/boot (prevent water dripping in)
Use NGK plugs or anti seize on threads (not needed on NGK because of the trivalent plating)

I don't care what plug is in use, anti-sieze is a best practice

it's not ok to reuse gaskets

you must use a quality torque wrench and follow service manual procedures to the letter
