    MSX 140 Replacement Gas Spring to 7042260

    Where I can getting the a Spring Gas msx 140 7042260 or any replacement

    McMaster carr. I think the msx uses an 80 lb just copy the dimensions when youre searching for one. Also if you want the right pressure because I wouldn't trust my memory, usually they have a number on them in newtons. maybe 300 or 400 you can google how to convert it to lbs

    These are slightly longer than OEM but I have had one on our MSX 140 for at least two years with no issues to date.

    All I ask is that you document and post up the remove and install process

    MSX gas spring Mcmaster PN. 9416k14 steel $12.62ea 4175T11 Stainless Steel $47.20ea.
    Ball end fittings. 9416K78 $1.17ea. Or quick release 9416K86 $1.39ea.

    Stock Lift-O-Mat specs.
    M6 Thread
    5.3" OAL
    1.7" Rod length
    3.4" Body length
    440nm force or 98lb
    5/16-18 X 10mm ball stud.
